Day 1 of the Northeast Championship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been completed. There are ton of games being played at this competition, including a team and singles Street Fighter 4 tournament.

NECX Street Fighter IV 3 on 3 Teams results
1. Justin Wong (Rufus), Perfect Sin (Zangief), Noel Brown (Sagat)
2. Marn (Rufus), Eduardo "vVv Scrub" Perez (Balrog), FlashM (C. Viper)
3. Sanford "Santhrax" Kelly (Sagat), Andre "Jago" Lambert (M. Bison) and Evil Rashaan (E. Honda)
Match notes:
• In winners finals, Marn (Rufus) and Justin Wong (Rufus) played against each other three times for their respective teams. These matches were very entertaining and competitive, but Justin won 2 times out of 3 and knocked Marn and his squad into the Losers bracket.
