Gamasutra.com is reporting that Street Fighter Alpha is the number one selling downloadable PlayStation title on the PS3 and PSP.

While some of you may be thinking, "Big whoop," the success or failure of titles like this can have a direct effect on if Capcom will remake and re-release other titles.

Since recent re-releases of Street Fighter titles have been very successful — and the original Alpha title not being an exception — it's reasonable to assume Capcom is going to push more fighting game titles out there. They'd be foolish not to.
