IGN reviews Sanwa Arcade-In-A-Box joystick

IGN has shot up a review of the new Arcade-In-A-Box joysticks. The article ends up being pretty positive for their Sanwa balltops giving it an rating of 9.5 out of 10.

The biggest problem? They'll set you back about $200. But what you get back for quality seems to be worth the investment if you're a hardcore player.

These sticks are XBox 360/PS3 compatible, and have quite a few other features available. Here's a clip from the review.

In our previous review of Arcade-In-A-Box's offerings we had qualms about the size of the box in question. But the new "Slim" line of controllers shaves 2 ΒΌ" off the height of the original, in turn reducing the weight and making lap-gaming a more pleasant experience. Now only 3.25" tall, it's still hefty enough to firmly root itself on a surface for table-top gaming, without sliding around.

When it comes to arcade sticks, your choices for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are slim -- in fact, aside from Hori's offerings, Arcade-In-A-Box is you're only option, so it's nice that they offer a wide array of customization.

The stick we played featured all Japanese parts from renowned arcade hardware manufacturer Sanwa, including their ultra-sensitive, minimally springy convex buttons and ball-top joystick.
