Capcom clarifies submission time for SSF2T HD Remix
As previously mentioned, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix is about a week away from being submitted to Microsoft and Sony.
Capcom did chime in on how long they expect the wait to last though.
Seth: The submission process is sometimes a sticky wicket, but assuming there are no issues (checking for problems is essentially what the submission process IS), it's usually around a month or so. The submission process is also different for different territories, so that can be an issue in itself when you're going for a global simultaneous release.
Sven might be able to weigh in with horror stories of long submissions or tales of exciting insta-approvals, but otherwise, yeah -- about a month.
Sven: Actually, having had some conversations as recently as today, waits are getting VERY long on Microsoft. I can't get into details but expect to see a lot of titles in the coming weeks.
That said, HD Remix has some special status most other titles don't. We have a specific window we're targeting and we're pretty sure we're going to hit it (watch, I just jinxed myself).
All of the above considered, it looks like we'll be seeing HD Remix sometime in mid-to-late October.

XBLA and PSN should be putting this game up ASAP! alot of people have been waiting for this for a very VERY long time, and they can make some good money. Look at Nintendo, the long awaited Super Mario RPG has had alot of downloads within a week. if Micro$oft wants to make some serious cash, they better get this thing up ASAP

They will make serious cash no matter what. They could care less. Nothing is going to stop giant corporations from making money.
