Kotaku has an interesting write up
discussing why they think Street Fighter 4 will be released on Feb. 27th in Australia.
Apparently they spoke with the company Red Ant, who distributes Capcom's titles in the Australian market and they confirmed the date.
As of Sunday at 2:20 p.m. Pacific time, a search on
Red Ant's website didn't turn up anything, so it's hard to know what to think.
There's been a variety of release dates thrown around for the U.S. release, and it wasn't that long ago that Kotaku posted a rumor that SFIV would be
out during this holiday season.
The February 27th release date makes sense, because it's the same day that Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li movie is supposed to hit theaters. But when all is said and done, everything is probably best taken with a grain of salt until Capcom makes it official.
