There's been a few rumors popping up that HD Remix will be released on Thanksgiving, but Capcom V.P. Christian Svensson mentioned on the Unity Boards he thinks it's unlikely. Will Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix be released on November 27th?
Sven: The 27th is Thanksgiving... I don't think Sony or Microsoft are propping anything on that day.
Is Capcom overseeing Madcatz's Street Fighter 4 arcade sticks production?
Sven: We've been involved from the very beginning in the design process. They were just in our offices this week even to go over final issues.
These things are going to be amazing. Best stick on the market. Period.
Details are coming very soon.
Best? I don't know about that. Looks just as bad/good as an EX Stick.
Sven: I promise you, they are far better than the EXes. Even the non-premium stick. 8)
It's what's inside and some other design considerations that you can't see (that we haven't revealed yet) that counts.
Just a little longer and it will all be made clear. We're waiting for MadCatz to announce something and then we'll detail the sticks pricing, availability and special design features that no other sticks have.
If after that's revealed, you're not impressed, obviously, you can still go buy an EX. I'm just saying, it probably makes sense to wait a little longer to see what we've got before you make any decisions and risk having buyer's remorse.
On the topic of pads, there's nothing else like them on the market, so that's an easy differentiator. I'm normally not a fan of pads but these are probably the best fighting game pads since the Saturn (waaaay better than stock pads).
Both will be at retail and carried in the Capcom Store.
