Infinite combo loop discovered in Street Fighter 4
The rumors proved to be true, and El Fuerte's infinite combo loop has been discovered.
You can see a video of this in action here.
If you'd like to read details on how it's done, go to the El Fuerte Character Guide.
Do note that using infinite combo loops is considered really bad form and you might tick off the person/people you're playing against if you bust it out.
You may be asking, "Why did we post how it's done then?" and the answer to that is simple. Even though most consider it bad form, there will always be people who will use and abuse these kinds of things.
We felt like our fellow players are best off knowing this exists and how to use it back on your opponent if it gets done to you. We're also hoping to spread the word that it's bad form and players will have a mutual understanding not to use it on one another.
Know that this infinite loop is not easy to execute and it seems most times the player will screw up some where along the way. It's lame, but at least you have a chance of countering sometimes.

Interesting... judging from the video this is tough to do.
Doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me, but I guess if people got really good at it it could be a problem.

Kind of sucks, but I agree, if nothing else there can just be a mutual ban on this.
They soft banned o.g. Sagat for ST in Japan for a long time, no reason players can't soft ban this here until Capcom fixes it.
If the community stomps on this from the get go they can keep it somewhat under control.

You guys are idiots. Fuetre sucks and this just makes him a good character. Have you even played him before?
Soft banning this would be retarded.

This is just one of those things that comes up in fighting games. Capcom will patch it, don't worry.
Until then, I think a truce on this is the right idea.

Following the precepts of Sirlinism I'm going to have to go with the argument that this shouldn't be banned until it's been shown to be game breaking. If fighting against El Fuerte now revolves around not getting hit by that initial HP than so be it. Until he starts unquestionably dominating it shouldn't be banned.

lbn: Whatever. Infinites can break fighting games. This one is too easy to pull off consistently because it doesn't require any Super meter.
You can pull this off at any time, any place, the only requirement is landing a close fierce.
But, it doesn't matter. I'm sure Capcom is going to remove this, just give them some time.

LBN-- Chill with the insults man. No need for that.
They should be able to balance Fuerte without havign to resort to giving him a loop.
He's not too far removed from being a good viable character. If they up his damage a bit, he'll be set and still be a lot of fun.

I see this and wonder if its really a infinite combo. I mean The Fuerte is fighting Gouki and hes always taken stun damage more than other characters.
