Asuka has a number of feints from certain attacks, most leaves her in crouch position, which has many options to follow the fake:

- Demon Slayer can be canceled by holding down before the strike (F+2~D). This as the added benefit of being a crouch dash essentially.
- Sacred Blade (including the finish from her F+1) can be canceled with DB before the strike (F+1,D+4~DB).
- Sudare Nagashi (rising 1+2) can be canceled by holding down (rising 1+2~D).
- Basho Oroshi (2,1,1+2) can be canceled by holding back. This is a cancel that leaves her standing.
- Spinning Heel Drop (F+3 hold) can be canceled by pressing back (F+3 hold, B). You can mix the timing of this one since the move 'charges'. This also leaves her standing. Many players know to duck the move, so follow up with a fast mid-attack for a launcher.
