Once im able to, im just to go do his trails and live in practice mode until i master him. Has a very slow walk speed from what i see but he makes up for that with his moveset i reckon. very much looking forward to using him
His super art and flying knee moves are both ublockables!!!
you should listen to what bryan says to juri after winning, i think they will make a great team. What's up with bryan's dlc costume you notice the changes but just barley. Only two things changed, 1. he has a little bit more hair, and 2. he has scracth marks over his body everything else is the same!
Really loving bryan but stuck with one thing. cancel his one two body blow into flying knee and it hits when the opponent is blocking (as it should, it's unblockable). Cancel a standing/crouching fierce into flying knee and the opponent can block it standing. Anyone any ideas?
Never mind, sussed it. It's not REALLY an unblockable, it's more of a striking move that has the properties of a throw.
After have spent a whole day to train and practice with Bryan it has come to my attention that he is ridiculously bad.
He has awful pokes, short and slow
I am quite sure he has the most worthless jumping normals in the game.
And almost all his specials leaves him in terrible frame disadvantages, by that I mean the same level of disadvantage as if you had whiffed a dp, it's truly awful.
We're not talking Adon "bad" or Makoto "bad" as we all thought in ssf4 at the start, i believe that he really is plain awful. Paul and Yoshi are considered but atleast they got a few solid normals and specials, Bryan don't.
The 3 hit target combos are a real waste, I don't even know why it's there. At first i thought they seemed great, giving him a mixup game but after I witnessed that the One two high kick actually could be blocked low I was deeply disappointed.
I dare to say he's worse then Paul...
But I will keep practice with him because I think he's a really cool character added to the game.
@12
Thank you for your superb insight.
/sarcasm off
Then tell me, compared to the rest of the cast, what good tools and moves does he have? There might be alot of changes now since last time I played, but back then he truly was horrible.
And please, no biased examples, make it impartial.
I gotta side with Troppop, sad to say.
Bryan just isn't a good character. The balance patch didn't do a lot lot to improve him. He's still pretty unsafe, has very few combos that don't rely on his Tekken chains to get them started, if at all, reducing his damage output. I HATE the animation to his c. MK. (just a personal thing but my GOD it looks stupid)
The only thing Bryan has is a really good c. LP. And... that's about it, really. Play Juri if you wanna play a character that's wonderfully crazy. 'Cause Bryan ain't really an option.
He's not terrible but he's not great either. He's just below mid tier imo. Has great special moves and damage but that's about all he has going for him.
