Important note: Some gems are free for Tekken characters while they're paid DLC for the Street Fighter side, and vice versa, the list below shows this with indicators in parentheses.

For example for Attack gem #25, Immense Power Lv. 3, there's a free exclusive gem for the Tekken side (T) and for the Street Fighter characters, this is part of the paid DLC gem pack 'SF Boost Gem Pack 3', so this is indicated with a (BGP3, SF).

Pandora gives you infinite meter in the sense that you're meter will always recharge back to full every time you spend some meter. Your meter won't stay full constantly. If you use meter, then the bars will be empty first and then immediately recharge. I'm not sure if you can use meter will your bar is still recharging.

The Proficiency gem could make it so that you can do lots of meter-using moves consecutively without having to wait for your meter to recharge first.

The meter isn't really infinite, it refills like in SSF4 refill super gauge in training mode. If you keep using meter fast, you'll run out of meter and you'll have to wait a sec for it to refill. I guess that gem prevents that from occurring greatly.

not completely redundant, when using ex meter or supers the meter gain freezes until the animation is over before its start to refill quickly again. So using less meter could potentially add up quickly during the short period pandora last. That gem imo would be great for character with great chipping potential with ex moves or ex loops combos.

example would be vega ex roll loop. cmp>1hit sHP xx ex rcf> link cMP>1hit sHP xx rcf....... During the time of the cMP to stand HP the meter will be refilling quickly, and due to using less meter, should be little(if any) dead time waiting for the meter to recharge inbetween links.

Another would be Hugo cMP>ex palm>cMP>ex palm>cMP>ex palm....... In 3s ex palm did crazy chip damage, i would assume it repeats here as well in functionality. So setting up a pandora chipping situation might be something to explore with that gem.

Hopefully ill be able to fully test this out later on today, maybe someone else could try it out and upload to youtube or something.

Gems #47 and #48 (Defence Gems) are the exact same except that one has an attack -10% penalty. Is this a mistake or does the list not tell the whole story?

I just found Cross gauge acquisition (every move gets you more gauge) or usage restoration (you spend less each time you use it).

#18 Its once per round, conditions have to be activated during each round, and you can't use them the rest of the round after the gems timer runs out. I personally wish that most gems had a cool-down equaling their run time, so you could use them more than once per round.

I have the pre-order-bonus-gems, too. But sometimes it feels to me like they are not fair compared to the original gems.

For example I have Cammy equipped with gem #002 and the same bonus-gem (#003)(but that bonus gem doesn't have the speed malus(!)). So Cammy deals +40% damage after she connected with 10 normal moves. Without the bonus-gems something like that is not possible.
There are also this two-effect-bonus-gems that need two slots but therefor last longer than other gems that combined have a similar effect.

It is unfair for players who do not have the bonus-gems. There are a lot of gems I really would miss if I did not have the bonus-gems. I think each of my characters would at least lose one gem.
Is something like that right? I offer some money to get an advantage? An advantage a player who doesn't offer that money would never get.

Gem #245 is the most useless Gem and stupidest design I have EVER seen.

Let me explain:

245 Proficiency Lv. 3 1 Gauge usage drop +40% 10 Activate Pandora Mode

Your Gauge usage drops 40% after using Pandora.... but you have INFINITE meter when you activate Pandora. So WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU GET THAT?

i use #004, #010 and #053 (Zangief) #128, #011 and #126 (Paul)

It's not a huge change in my gameplay but helps sometimes...

@23 There are no "best" combinations. The whole point of gems is to tailor them around your own gameplay style and specific needs. What works for one person won't work for all. Now of course there are some gems that provide really good benefits but they may really only benefit one style of play.
