
I'm sure the reason behind Hyakuretsukyaku being a half-circle now is because of the heavy being pressed twice for the launcher, that means you can't mash out a heavy Hyakuretsukyaku at all. Without you being able to rapidly press for a certain version, they had to change how you do Hyakuretsukyaku entirely.
With the way the bnb launcher combos will work at present, I'm sure noone will have a mash special move and have it replaced with another motion instead.
I personally think it'll be good for combos, that way Chun-Li players can think more calmly in a differently paced game.
You should all check out the vid of J.Wong using her in this game because man, the half-circle motion for Hyakuretsukyaku has really given the move a lot more utility for both combo strings and for up close pressure. Seth Killian also mentioned that Chun Li has impressive juggling ability in the game. Kikoken's distance, recovery and half-circle motion all seem great too!
@Rafael2487 - Sorry, but "Blue Girl" has always been top/upper mid tier in all of her incarnations and being Capcom icon, she deserves no less.

Justin Wong has said in interviews that he loves Chun Li when she's not a charge character and one of the big reasons he didn't play her in SSFIV was because she was a charge character. The fact that she has chargeless legs and kikokens will make Justin fall in love with her I'm sure (Let's go Justin! all over again).
ok if i can get used to the lightning legs input as it is in this game, then ill still play as Chun-li. I hope i can do a similar combo i do in MVC3 b/c in this game she has her diagonal kicks again. I miss those kicks. SFIV - AE she sucks. i hate her as a Turtle char. she is fast and agile, why did they make her Kikoken a charge move for??
ugh this is going to be an adjustment due to my time spent learning chun li in her current form in ssf4. i will be taking a few loses until i get used to her but i hope if they changed her for the sake of the system that they keep her this way from now on.
but instead of the hcf + kick for lighting legs it should just be a fireball motion and the bird kick should be a simple hurricane kick motion.
Spinning Bird kick is good as it is, since she charges it, it's input is good as is. If it didn't charge, then it could be spammed alot. She is perfect in MVC3. She has all her moves and her kikoken isn't a stupid charge move. Tenshokyaku as a target combo is really lame. They changed Chun-li big time in SF4, and she sucks in that game.

I main her, and trust me, Half circle lightning legs DEFINITELY is a plus point. The combo possibilites and juggles are almost endless with it, especially given the tag aspect of the game. You can Jump+HK into H-LL, or even standing HK into M/H LL for some pretty good damage. Also low Hazanshu into LL :D

I oddly enough like the SFxT version better. Maybe it's because of her ability to Juggle so much. Still practicing though. :D
