I think it's a new move where he picks up the enemy and launches them in the air. Just guessing though.

I would've enjoyed seeing Bastion though.

I know it's early... but I've seen so much footage of him already... He is the best character in the game hands down.

His damage output along with his health is unmatched. His assists are near the top. He can f'n fly.

But.... where he really shines is his X-factor late in the game. So Overpowered. Get caught in ONE overhead, it's over.

Yeah yeah I know... cry more.... I was just hoping for different characters on top. And don't tell me he's not top... I will look back on this post 6 months from now and we will see whose talking.

Define top. I figure he's in the top 5, but he loses to certain things and beats out other things. People like Zero who have hits that hit more than once are going to wreck Sentinel. Super armor won't save you now.

I know a lot of people are saying that Sentinel is overpowered right now, understandably, but I've been watching some matches of him and what I'm finding is that, well no one seems to playing defensively. Almost anyone I've seen play this game is playing very bullheaded style, they're just looking for that one move that OTG's, Ground pounces, re-lunches, etc, and no one is really turtleing. Once someone finds a good combo of character that are really hard to beat on defense Sentinel isn't going to look as strong as he is now. Not that I think he's not one of the best characters in the game, but I don't think he'll completely ruin it ether, no matter what Marn says.

i dont even think that will work.. his super armor absorbs like 3 hits at least.. by then his attack will have hit you.. ive been consistently hit out of 2,3 hit combos by a crouching M into launcher.. and well.. you know how it goes from there :(

i dont even care how much damage he dishes out i just think he needs to lose that freakin armor on his normals.. what good is making him slow if your attacks dont cause hitstun/ make him flinch? if they wanted to do that they shouldve also done it for hulk, haggar, etc

There seem to be 'anti-Sentinels'-comprising of Arthur, Zero, and possibly Dormammu and a few others, who can take care of Sentinel pretty well. Without them though, Sentinel is a massive problem.

The reason you don't find defensive players in MvC3, IMO, is because you only have a minute and a half to end the match. If you're going to use Deadpool, for example, and spam grenades/guns, you'll waste 45 seconds to only realistically kill 1 character when you can just rush in and get the job done. It's not about playing defensively as a whole, it's about playing defensively until you see the opportunity to punish/rush down.

That's why Magneto spammers annoy me. Why waste your time spamming his beam when the damage output capability is so much higher on his combos? Granted, you're not getting hit, but I've seen rounds when spammers take half the opponents life in 1 minute just so the other guy can slip through the defence and kill the spammer in the last 30 seconds and win via Time Over.

bread and butter combo : cr.m st.S > j.h xx fly > j.l j.H xx unfly > j.m xx double jump j.m j.S > land > dash xx light rocket punch xx plasma super - around 650,000 damage . or you can do cr.M st.S > j.m j.h j.S > land > dash xx light rocket punch xx plasma super - roughly 600,000 . only do the 2nd combo if your new to marvel 3 until you get used to fly and unfly combos.
