The chart below shows how much life the characters in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars have along with the damage each character would take when getting hit by a full Level 3 Shin Shoryuken Hyper move by Ryu.
In cases where there are multiple fighters who have the same stamina level, only one lifebar is shown, but all of the characters in those brackets take the same amount of damage.

Poor karas. I wish he were higher than this, he's one of my favorites. =\

After all the talk of how easy Zero was to use it makes since that he would have a defensive disadvantage.

Alex is a favorite of mine. Especially since he's a giant killer.

Don't we receive BILLIONS of damage when we get combo'd?
So one punch would kill them all. LOL

i know he was buff in the first one but they over nerfed him
Posted by KEN HAS 46-47 on February 20, 2010 at 9:56 a.m. #9
This guide is wrong. Ken the Eagle has more than 45k. How do I know? I did a 45k+ combo on him w/ tekkaman blade and that nigga still wasn't dead.
I est. he had 46-47k, as any firce attack would have killed him after it.

What does Stamina mean in a fighting game?
Im new, sorry =(
Posted by lvl.1 Zidiane on February 20, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. #11
it means you take more hits, and take longer to kill.
Posted by Catalyst on February 20, 2010 at 12:45 p.m. #12
Ken has the stamina listed, you ran into damage reduction when you did your big combo, that's why it didn't kill him.
If you want to test out his stamina, hit training mode and tally up how much power each one of your hits takes off, it will even factor in damage reduction for you, and you'll get his hit point total.

I find it funny that Ryu, who has dedicated his life to travelling the world in the pursuit of martial arts perfection has LESS health than Frank West, who has covered wars you know?
What wars has Frank covered?
Star Wars?

I was under the impression that Yatterman 2 had the worst stamina in the game. To see that Zero has less stamina than Yatterman 2 is surprising.

how exactly do these numbers translate into the billions of damage it displays in-game?
Posted by lvl.1 Zidiane on February 20, 2010 at 3:45 p.m. #16
no matter what attack you do, it says how many billions of damage you have done, so karas should be 37.5 biliion, and megaman 41 billion. just think of the last three digits like numbers after a decimal in mathematical numbers.

Cause Frank is the man!

I guess this was part of the nerfage that Karas got? Or did he have health this bad in Cross Generation too?

Though the HP assignment was most likely done from a balancing perspective, I don't like how OOC it seems. Someone already mentioned that Frank West > Ryu, but Doronjo > All Three Gatchaman?! Dating Sim Girl > Zero?!

I still kick ass. I will always be the cooler, although I may be smaller.

Funny that Takkaman and alex are in the same space since Tekkaman is actually a good character and alex sucks!
Posted by SmokeRulz on February 20, 2010 at 11:58 p.m. #23
Forget that, I think Alex is right excellent if you can use him. Stun Gun Headbutt wins matches. My brother - having never played TvC before but being a seasoned Abel player in SSF4 - picked up a controller, played Alex, and wrecked everything in short order. Jesus christ.
I think he was invisioned as rather low tier in CGOH, but perhaps he's improved in this game? I dunno. I also just think the tier list matters very little for this game, it's pretty damn balanced.

@19
Karas' health was always the worst in the game. It's just that now his combo damage sucks too.
Posted by Some Guy on February 21, 2010 at 9:56 a.m. #25
Shouldn't these health readings be in the billions? I mean, a single punch usually does 1 BILLION DAMAGE!!! If they only have health in the thousands, how do they survive a single combo?
Posted by Sagat on February 21, 2010 at 11:48 a.m. #26
Alex and Tekkaman are 1000 points behind PTX-40A? BULL CRAP!
Posted by Sagat on February 21, 2010 at 11:49 a.m. #27
Scratch that, 10,000 points behind?

They're Giants, they gotta have bigger HP than the others because they can only fight alone.
Posted by saikyo on February 21, 2010 at 10:52 p.m. #29
haha im pretty sure he was making note that its unfair that alex and tek are ONLY 10000 points behind. Which actually seems incredibly unfair to the giants, a team of tek and alex would be able to tank 107 billion damage compared to ptx's 63.5 billion.
Posted by Exprima on February 22, 2010 at 4:10 a.m. #30
@ #29:
Lol, yeah. Plus he fact that Tekkaman and Alex can regenerate by switching out, the giants can't.
Posted by Eric on March 3, 2010 at 4:34 p.m. #31
Wow, poor Giants. In every tier list speculation, they are at the bottom.
Posted by Degalon on April 9, 2010 at 2:47 a.m. #32
This doesn't seem right to use the Shin Shoryuken as the basis for this measurement. I main a team of Alex and Frank, and either one of their lv 3s does way more damage. I know on like, Zero, Alex's lv 3 does half or more of his health bar.

average on a defense rankings list should refer to the mode average, which, in this case would be the crowd with 44 billion hit ppoints (Morrigan, Saki, Joe the Condor, Ken the Eagle and Jun the Swan). Ryu should be above average (like he was in street fighter III in this case).
