lol. why nerf him? i think hes okay. just need to give him a way to easily combo into his ultra. just like everyone else has.

Niconico mark (Fujisawa san) is the best Guile imho.

Frantsujin ("the french") and Yoshiwo are the safest and most successful ones, but Fujisawa shows so much knowledge about Guile and is so aggressive you gotta love him.

(@1st : Nerf Guile ? Is already very very weak... oO)

NERF Guile?! Are you crazy?! He's a low tier character.... He needs buffing in the worst way period. He needs a move that closes gaps quickly -across- the screen.

guile needs something for the less skilled people to use him lol i gota cousin and he uses guile in so many different ways defensive offensive he can control the ground and air very well but it is a lot of hard work but guile does have the skill to win... but its complicated compared to someone like ryu lol he needs a more simple confirm ultra but to be honest thats about it

High Skill? Yeah I know.... I've mained Guile since 91. I know what I'm doing, but he needs a little more in his tool set. Ever since the realization that Guile was simply unbeatable in SF2WW, Capcom has advanced -everyone- to beyond Guile. Show some love and dust off Guile. I'm not saying he needs to be broken or anything..... Just come on.

What exactly does "high skilled character" even mean? Technically ALL the characters are high skilled characters when played at a high level. How does using Ryu and using Guile require more or less skill? If you're talking about difficulty in execution then I believe C.Viper is significantly more "skilled." She requires a lot of precision to execute her more difficult combos.

I think most people use the term to mean 'said character has less-than awesome abilities' therefore when faced with the majority of characters who do more damage, take less damage, have better specials, etc. the 'high skill' character requires a greater amount of skill to be played effectively.

I really don't think you can argue that it takes a higher degree of skill ( for a number of characters) to beat a mediocre Sagat. Sagat is so TT that he requires 'less skill' than other chars to play effectively.

Every time I play Guile players online I'll leave after three matches, win or lose. Fighting Guiles, good or bad players, is so boring. One thing about fighting games is I HATE chasing. Being defensive is a good stragety but doing it the ENTIRE match just bothers and bores the hell out of me, like how this guy and many others play Guile. Seriously, Guile is not hard to play. His motions to pull off special moves are back and forward and up and down. How can you screw up?!?

Hi my name is Random guy
In sf4 I wanted to concentrate more on charged characters so i started with Bison (DICTATOR),then move to E. Honda and chun li. I didn't want to use Balrog (BOXER) cause he's too powerfull.
I finally picked Guile cause poeple said they nerfed him...a lot! Man they were right, I felt sad for guile users everywere. I dunno why maybe cause its a challenge but he became my primary character cause I want to see how far I can go with him. He's a though character to master and you need to be patient and more ofensive with him in SF4. Normally I'm not a guile user but I like guile now cause I get total satisfaction when i win matches with RYU, KEN, SAGAT, VIPER, BlANKA ect. Keep up the good work guys and keep posting those vids and strategies!!

Bah, just make the Ultra fully connect like the one of Vega(Dictator) and have his c.lp > c.mp a 2frame link, and Guile will be good to go.

Makes his S.Boom do 60dmg instead of 50 and hitstun a little more and Guile will be High tier.

Problem of Guile is minor tweaks can make him sooooo powerful Capcom has got to go wisely.

fuq the bull shid I luv guile but he seriouly needs a overhaul, all of the "so called top tier" characters, can cancel normals into ultra w/ very minimal d.reduction i.e ryu,gat,rufus,etc plus his notaion needs 2 b simplified like hdremix, then he would decent.
