I never really had a liking for Dee Jay, but I don't hate him either. I think he's a character that nobody EVER hated as far as I know.

please make him well balanced...
Not top tier...
but not crap tier either.
Right in the middle.
I really don't want him to be over-used like sagat and ryu/ken just because he's a good character.

When SF4 came out with out Dee Jay, my main in HD remix, I was really upset. Of all the 4 new characters introduced in Super SF2, Dee jay was ranked the highest, tier wise,compared to Fei, Cammy, and hawk. I couldn't comprehend why he was left out at the time, but I eventually knew it was due to popularity (Capcom polls)and not actually game-play based. I mean if Dee Jay was actually included in the console release of SF4, I can almost GUARANTEE that he would have been above any of the other console only characters, tier wise). But that doesn't matter anymore since he is in SSF4, so happy day for me.

the main reason I posting this is because I was looking at DJ's bio and I saw that his birthday is oct. 31st. I was like, "get the #$%# outta here", because my own birthday is on oct 31st. No LIE.... its almost like fate that I liked DeeJay so much as a character, low and behold we shared the same Bday, and I am a black guy too lololol (as u can see I really like DJ). All in all, this is pleasant news and I can't wait for Super SF4 to launch!

what the hell? Just make him how he was in hdr/turbo and let him be tiered after. Why would u nerf him before he is out? Wow u must be another ryu player that is worried that deejay wont be a free win for u.

He will definitely be a charged character, I guarantee it!
There has never been a game (SF or other wise) that a character went form complete shoto stlye to a complete charged style character or vice versa, ever!!

True, I also belive that. But there has been cases where a shoto-style char was given a charge move. Cammy, for example, with the Killer Bee Assault.

You can also take Chun-li into acount. Not only the Kikouken, but also her supers have gone from charge, to slide, and then to charge again.

So, it is possible they make a few changes. But I belive he's really gonna be the same charge character we know.

No... It's Kickboxing. However, in the SFIII series, an African fighter, Elena, uses Capoera to fight. She's is also quite beautiful.

Elena also fights to make new friends, she is a really classy girl.

Onto Dee Jay; he kicks ass, not just gameplay-wise but I love his personality and energy which is the same reason why I like Sean except he's not the greatest gameplay-wise :)

i think that a lot of guile players will pic DJ cuz he is the better guile!
his moves are close to guiles moves (sonic boom and flashkick)and he got even more moves! and he is way faster than guile!

and thats how I experienced it in THDRemix

actually I hate DJ!!!!

DJ's the man! My favourite character to play. He's so cool and you can bet your life he'll remain charge with his moves just like they are now with maybe his EX-machine gun upper being tweaked a bit because it would be hard to tap the shoulder button fast for that to work if you're using a controller. He's the reason I'm so excited for Super ;D

I've always wondered why his fighting style was kickboxing and not capoeira myself. His personality and likes (dancing in particular) make him a great fit for capoiera. His dread kicks and up kicks fit the bill as well as they involve spinning kicks. Doesn't make me love him any less, though. He'll definitely be a character I'll try to learn in SSF4 and is a likely candidate for my main. :)
