Video 01: Akuma vs. Ryu
Momochi (Akuma) vs. Ryu (Daigo). Momochi uses his air fireball extremely well in avoiding fireballs and to give himself some breathing room. Also lands devastating combos whenever Daigo left himself open.

Video 02: Akuma vs. Sagat
The Akuma player in this clip rushes down Sagat for most of the match. He uses his Demon Flip and a variety of normals to apply a lot of offensive pressure.

Video 03: Akuma vs. El Fuerte
Akuma uses his Air Fireballs to control parts of the match against El Fuerte, but he also goes inside and applies pressure when the opportunity presents itself.

Akuma uses his Ultra move to counter Crimson Viper's Burning Kicks.

Video 05: Akuma vs. Ryu
Momochi uses Akuma's EX-Air Fireball to apply pressure and set up some great combos against Daigo's Ryu. He plays a mostly defensive game only going after the other fighter when the right opportunities present themselves.

Can anyone point out the main differences between the HDR Akuma and SF4? It seems that SF4 has more moves and tricks, but HDR is banned.

If I had to guess it would be because the other fighters also have additional moves that can counter or at least stay on par with Gouki now.

Or is it bc data is still not yet confirmed?

Even though el fueta lost I still want to learn how to play like the last guy. He used him very well and he used his ex hit good too. Akuma's air fireballs are annoying

I used to have problems with Akuma being a Bison player. But being patient and mixing it up I own most lol.

Obviously there are the few exceptions but I have only been playing with Bison for a couple of weeks. I used to main Guile.

They probably wanted to keep in check the player generally. I mean in Super Turbo Tournaments he was banned because he was broken. You could do so much with him without putting any effort. Granted they tweaked him in HDRemix but he's still generally more powerful than anyone else.

In IV however, the game feels more balanced and while Akuma may still be a juggernaut offensively, and has a nice mix up game, his stamina really kills him. You can't make a guy so powerful that he doesn't have weakness, so kill his defense.

not exactly high level from the ryu player but i thought the akuma player was exceptional, good use of combos, teleports & ultra moves especially in second round.

I like Video 2 the most. That's how I'd like to play Akuma because I don't think he should be used defensively.
