Special Moves

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick (Can also be used in the air)
Electromagnetic Disruptor
Shoots out a very fast and dominate beam, which can be tossed out in the air as well. The Hard Punch version is more damaging.

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick (Can also be used in the air)
Hyper Gravitation
Magneto fires off four magnetic balls, the Hard Kick version travels basically full-screen, but Light Kick only has about sweep's distance range.

If this lands, it will pull the other player into you and they'll hover in the air briefly so you can attack them. This can be an easy way to land Hyper moves or set up big combos.

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick
Magnetic Force Field (Counter Attack)
You'll enter a pose with a magnetic field around you. If someone takes a swipe at you with certain attacks, usually melee, you'll hit them back with a counter attack.

Doesn't work against throws or projectiles.

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick
Magnetic Blast (Air Projectile)
Shoots two projectiles at a diagonally down-forwards angle, this can be done multiple times in the air without having to land.

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick (Can also be used in air)
Flying
Makes you fly around for a long period of time. All of your moves that work in the air will work when doing this as well.

Joystick
Air Dash
Pressing in any direction and the two Punch buttons at the same time while jumping will cause Magento to dash in that direction.

Hyper (Super) Moves

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick
Magnetic Shockwave
Magento enters a pose, powers up then slams his fist into the ground. You have a small period of invulnerability here where people may think they can hit you, but if they try it they'll be caught in a giant column of shockwaves.

When you hit, this will push your enemy back a ways. Not always to the corner, but usually pretty close.

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick (Can also be done in the air)
Magnetic Tempest
After executing this motion, you'll enter a pose and start channeling objects that fly in all directions and are basically impossible to avoid. But, you can still be hit and knocked out of this move when you first enter the pose.

Electromagnetic Disruptor is missing its button input, I think.

Magneto is too much of a beast... This game simply has no balance! Maybe that's why it's so addicting?

magnus is strong, but he dies quick as hell. You just need the right anti-air against him. Either psylocke, commando, guile, cable, and iron-mans anti air all screw him up pretty good.

He's a beast when you can do his infinite I'm sure. But I can't, so I generally don't play as him much.

Magnetic Blast can be used to position past a hyper beam if used right.
