Special Moves
(Can also be done in the air)
• Rocket Punch •
This makes Sentinel's arm fly out and hit his opponent. The Light Punch version travels at a diagonally down-right angle and Hard Punch goes straight across the screen.
(Can also be done in the air)
• Upwards Rocket Punch •
Like this other Rocket Punches, except it hits at a diagonally up-right angle.
• Attack Rockets •
You can control the Attack Rockets by pressing up or down on the joystick as they're flying at your opponent.
• Bomb Drop •
Holding Hard Kick will delay the Bomb Drop until you release the button or the flying robots are almost to the edge of the screen.
(Can also be used in air)
• Flying •
Makes Sentinel fly around for a long period of time. You can only use special moves that normally work in the air while Flying.
• Mouth Laser •
A fast moving laser shoots out of Sentinel's mouth. You can also do this while crouching.
Hyper (Super) Moves
(Mash Punches)
• Plasma Storm •
A close-range plasma ball comes out of Sentinel's arms. If you mash the Punch buttons while doing this, you'll score more hits and damage.
• Hyper Attack Rockets •
A souped up version of his Attack Rockets move.
(In the air)
• Hard Drive •
Sentinel flies through the air with a force field that can hit an enemy multiple times.

Sentinel isn't someone that's easy to pick up. His unfly combos are a pain to execute, Anyway him Cable and Commando are my favorite chars are in the game. I think it's justified that he is good since in the comics he was designed to destroy Mutants anyway.

Sentinel is God Tier, top along with Magneto, Storm and Cable. If you want to pick him do so. If they lose to you it's their problem not yours.

I have the best luck fighting him with fast, agile characters. Constantly dash and jump and stay unpredictable.

I guess justin(jay) wong must be a scrub then also sanford kelly is a scrub aswell although they are the best MVC2 players out there. I would much rather be a winner and called a scrub then lose and be legit.

mvc2 is my number one game of all time, but it s screwed and broken... because ryu and ken sucks, gouki too, venom sucks, ect... everyone sucks except cable/magneto/storm and senti

Anyone with any sort of real skill wouldn't use Sentinel...they would pick a character you actually have to practice with and not someone a noob could pick up and beast with(like Wolverine)... Although you can master Sentinel's moves all in all he is just a cheap character. Personally in this game Capcom characters are more technical and Marvel characters are for button mashers...minus Collossus, Marrow, Rogue, and Magneto...

Sentinel is one of the most technical characters in mvc2, fast fly, unfly, unblockables. If you get styled on by someone using sentinel than they just know the game better than you.
Stop hating the top tier and learn how to play. This game is a totally different game once you do so.

Sentinel is NOT unbeatable, there are some characters that can give him many problems when they themselves play a good keep away game just as well as Sentinel.
Black Heart, Storm, Cable, War Machine (this takes serious skill) and some others.
Those for characters that are in higher tier, they are good, but again, not unbeatable.
