Special Moves

(Can also be done in the air)
• Fireball (Hadoken) •
Ryu's signature move, like he has in all of the Street Fighter games.

• Dragon Punch (Shoryuken) •
Another Ryu staple, which is a good anti air attack.

(Can also be done in the air)
• Hurricane Kick (Tatsumaki Senpukyaku) •

Hyper (Super) Moves

      or (Mash Punches or Kicks) (Can also be done in the air)
• Hyper Fireball (Shinkuu Hadoken) •
Mashing on the Punch or Kick buttons will score you extra damage and hits when performing this Hyper move.

• Hyper Hurricane Kick (Shinkuu Tatsumaki Senpukyaku) •

• Hyper Dragon Punch (Shin Shoryuken) •
This requires a three Hyper bars to perform.

Command Normals

• Overhead Punch •
Must be blocked high.

• Hop Kick (Senpuu Kyaku) •

• Straight Kick (Air Senpuu Kyaku) •

      (In the air)
• Knee into High Kick •
Instead of Ryu's usual follow up after pressing Light Kick, holding Up and pressing Light Kick after the initial hit causes him to do a High Kick.
