Vega's plotline and history for Street Fighter 4

The privileged Catalonian has an obsession with beauty and one hell of a dark streak.
Having studied both bullfighting and ninjutsu, Vega blended the two together, forming a quick, acrobatic combat style.
He began his wicked ways after witnessing the death of his mother at the hands of his stepfather.
Enraged, he murdered his stepfather. The incident left a huge imprint, changing Vega into a pitiless killer.
It is this characteristic, as well as his fighting abilities, that drew M. Bison to entice Vega to join Shadaloo.
Vega is the only fighter to keep a weapon with him at all times, using a claw to extend his reach and deliver slashing strikes.
His other accessory, a white mask, is used to protect his flawless face.

hold up - The SF2 Animated Movie is not canon, it's simply a cool piece of associated merchandise. It's never been said who defeated Vega in SF2, or even if he was defeated at all.
XenaWP - Vega's mother has never been cannonically listed. The only thing that's ever been noted about her is that she was exceptionally beautiful.
T - The mark on Vega's mask is simply a stylistic flourish, it's not a 'J'.

Also, some versions of the backstory state that it was Vega's father and not his stepfather that murdered her. Like Ken's exact ethnic parentage, it varies a helluva lot and no specific exact cannon exists.

let it be known Vega was NEVER a bull fighter to afraid to hurt his face he only studied it to make his father Proud. His father found him a coward for never actually stepping into the ring as he himself did. Vega's father was actually a matador. Vega didnt even take up ninjutsu until after his father died (bull fighting). taking his knowledge of bullfighting and ninjutsu he committed to self training. During this period of "Abandonment" of his mother she married a new suitor much more wealthy and whom carried more prestige than a second tier bullfighter like Vega's Father. Upon Vega's return to Spain he meets this man and feels all that was his fathers was taken by this man, The Estate, His Fathers Remaining wealth, His own mother (despite the man being of better status in almost every way compared to Vega's own Father)... An argument erupts between Vega and his own mother. He departs for the night to wake of the news of his mother's death. In truth she was hurled from a high balcony at The Estate after the earlier argument had sparked one between Herself and Vega's stepfather. He kills this man. The story is still subjective as to why he did. Most believe he had something to prove beyond avenging his mothers death. which would make sense for such a prideful character. In either case it was Vega's brutal murder of his stepfather that caught Bison's attention. There wasnt very many ways with which to get away with murder... So this was Bison's bargaining chip as well he offered Vega a top spot in The Shadaloo for exchange of his Freedom. Vega of course blinded with pride seen this as a win win situation. with still a bit of coward in him he dons his mask knowing he will actually have to fight. and flourishes it with a "J" which we all know is not his mothers name or his fathers (having a bittersweet relationship with both) its the initial of the first man he had ever killed.

Vega Has Daddy Issues 1ST (Vega was NEVER a bull fighter to afraid to hurt his face he only studied) that is str8up bullsh1t because the 1st time ken and chu-li got to meet vega. he was 18 already a well known bullfighter in spain infact they meet him when he was inside of a bullring. vega kill a bull and give the bloody ear to chu-li as a gift.
