Akuma's plotline and history for Street Fighter 4

Akuma has used his martial arts to become something more than human, and definitely something more cruel.
He treks the globe in search of warriors worthy to be his opponent.
Having trained with his brother Gouken under Goutetsu, he learned a nameless assassination style as well as an incredibly powerful technique called Shun Goku Satsu.
However, this death technique came with a price, putting the user in great danger.
Akuma nonetheless mastered the Shun Goku Satsu by embracing the principle of Satsui no Hadou, or Surge of the Murderous Intent, and as a result lost all compassion.
With this new power Akuma killed his master and presumably destroyed his brother.
He enters the new fighting tournament looking for another challenge.

akuma won't kill you in battle unless your considered a worthy challenger. he'll let you live, most likely crippled but he'll let you live.

I don't like the fact they made him so "vocal" in SF4 ... his mysteriousness made him even more awesome in the previous games. Like, he had no problem using this massive destructive power he had but seemed be somewhat of a noble character in his own way ... but now he just cause he runs his mouth constantly during fights he seems like a madman haha ... which is probably more of what he is supposed to be, but still I like how I thought of him before lol

can anybody tell me how to unlock akuma i got the book but it just says to pass arcade mode with all unlockable characters i already did that but not exacly i need one more character his name is seth i just cant unlock him the book says to complete arcade mode with all default characters but i already did that he just wont show up in the character selection if anybody can tell me how to get seth please send another commet here i will check every day to see hwo has it i will give 30 dallors to whoever tells me and it better be the right on

You have to unlock everyone but Seth and gouken. Then beat arcade mode on any diff setting, just don't set to infinite time. then before you get to the boss, win with two perfect matches and finish two matches with ultra combos. After you defeat Seth akuma will appear, beat him and unlock him. I don't think you are allowed any continues. After, beat arcade mode with akuma, same guidelines but 3 ultra combo wins and gouken will appear!

to unlock akuma for ps3 or 360 you first have to unlock the other 6 secret characters (Cammy, Dan, Fei Long, Sakura, Gen, and Rose). after that you have to play through arcade mode and get at least one perfect and no continues.

it's 2 perfects and 2 ultras for Akuma with out losing a round and no continues for Gouken it's 2 perfects 3ultras with out losing a round and no continues for ps3 and 360.

the way to unlock seth is by beating arcademode no countinues no infinity every match has to end with ultra combo

Defeat "Seth" in the Arcade Mode with:
C. Viper - unlocks Cammy
Ryu - unlocks Sakura
Sakura - unlocks Dan
Abel - unlocks Fei Long
Chun Li - unlocks Gen
M. Bison - unlocks Rose
This is based on setting of 1 round:
Akuma - After unlocking Sakura, Dan, Cammy, Fei Long, Gen and Rose, Fight him on arcade mode, to do that, Get at least 1 perfect, achieve 5 first attack, no continues, defeat Seth, and Akuma will show up, then defeat him.
Gouken - After unlocking Akuma, Sakura, Dan, Cammy, Fei Long, Gen and Rose, finish the game using Akuma, then fight Gouken on arcade mode, to do that, Get at least 1 perfect and at least 3 Ultra Finishes, achieve 5 first attack and no continues.
Seth - End the game with all the other characters.

And if u get to seth with for example Ryu u can lose to seth on purpose and switch character if u got problems beating arcade mode with someone, then u just have to beat seth and u clear arcade with that character.

i agree with "SlapnutsGT"(???),they made him too vocal and his voice sounds annoying like a "typical" animae character. In all of his other iterations(wether it be "Street Fighter Alpha" the movie, or "Street Fighter Alpha Generations" the movie, or even the voice in previouse video games) he had more of a seriouse,straight forward,deeper voic,NOT a crazy saddistic psychopath one...
...on another note, to answer "YoBro97's" question,yes,i believe he will most likely be in future games(if they make one) of Street Fighter,simply based on the storyline. SF4 takes place between SF2 and SF3. In SF3(which takes place AFTER SF4) Akuma is alive and well,and there's no inclination that he's about to die or in bad condition or anything,which means that in a sequel (Street Fighter 5 i guess??) he could very well be alive.
According to the "Ryu:End" manga, (without giving away too much of the story) Ryu and Akuma fight a climatic battle witch results in Akuma being serverly wounded, alowing the energies of the Dark Hadou to try and take over,Akuma however resists, surviving this assult on his body leaving the fight gravly wounded with a message for Ryu...(an thats about all ill say about that)...but yea,he survives,so he could be in a SF5(which would take place after SF3(which takes place after SF4(??)))...
...It would be cool if they first made a SF3 with the updated graphics and an updated storyline,showing the end of Ryu's story (according the the novel) and the beggining of the "next generation" of fighters (featuring the SF3 cast,and maybe some new ones) this game could also feature alternate characters like a "dark hadou engulfed" akuma, or a Ryu with a scar on his chest(again,something that happened in the "Ryu:Final" manga that i cant talk about).
And maybe they can even explain what happened to Gouken because he doesnt appear in SF3,however,according to SF4(whcih again,takes place BEFORE SF3) he survived the Shun Goku Satsu (Or instant Hell murder) Heh,take that Capcom!

Has anyone seen his 2nd ultra in the upcoming Super Street fighter ??
Lets just say you'll find it a bit difficult to take him seriously after seeing it.

@sad. I agree his new ultra in SSFIV is a disappointment. He spins around like tasmanian devil or something lol. It just doesnt seem to fit his style, know what I mean?
I would have preferred to see one of his hyper combos from MvC2 maybe.. But I dunno, im praying capcom will get enough complaints about it before the game is released. That way they might find it in their hearts to change it in time =)
