(Can also be done in the air)
• Soul Fist (Fireball) •
Shoots out a medium size fireball, with the Hard Punch version traveling a little bit faster. When done in the air, this does slightly less damage and it travels at a down-towards angle.
(Can also be done in the air)
• Shadow Blade •
Morrigan's Dragon Punch move, which can also be executed in the air, but it overlaps with her low Air Dash command, so it can be difficult to pull this off consistently while airborne unless you do an Air Dash first.
The Hard Punch Shadow Blade does more damage and has considerably better range, but it leaves you more open to being punished if blocked.
(When very close)
• Vector Drain (Command Grab) •
An unblockable command grab that does more damage than your regular throw, but only offers slightly better range than Morrigan's regular throw. If you miss with this, you'll do a 'whiff' animation.
(In the air)
• Shell Kick •
Morrigan turns her legs into a drill with spikes protruding out. This is a multi-hitting jump attack that stays out until you land, plus it has a nice hit box which can make it tougher to anti air you.
or
• Air Dash •
Morrigan has multiple Air Dashes which control where she flies. You can interrupt your Air Dash at any time by pressing an attack button or executing a Special/Hyper move.
Her default Air Dash takes her across the screen arcing downwards a bit. Her other Air Dashes work like this:
or
![]()
You'll start by flying high and then swoop low.
or
![]()
Makes you swoop low and then fly back up.
or
(Mash Punch or Kick buttons)
• Soul Eraser •
Creates large guns out of bats and blasts your opponent. This has an atrociously bad start up time making it nearly impossible to combo into without the aid of a teammate.
This works best from right around sweep distance, if it fully connects from this spot it drains about 60% of your enemy's life.
(Can also be done in the air)
• Darkness Illusion •
Morrigan glides forward and tries to grab the other player. If she does an illusion pops up and they do a series of moves together.
This is another Hyper attack with a solid amount of start up time making it difficult to combo into, but it's Morrigan's only Hyper move that can be done in the air. Damage on this is also very good.
• Silhouette Blade •
Summons creatures with blades up from the ground who jump up and strike one after another. Unlike her other Hyper moves this has a fast start up time making it easy to combo into, but the biggest problem with this Hyper attack is doing it in the corner, as the last couple of hits tend to miss and without these your Silhouette Blade doesn't do much damage.
If everything connects though, it does solid if not spectacular damage, pretty much what you'd expect from other character's Hyper moves.
(In the air)
