Baby Bonnie (B.B.) Hood moves and strategies: Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Last updated on Aug. 6, 2009

Special Moves
or
• Smiling Missile •
Punch fires off a high missile attack, Kicks are for low. The strength of the button pressed controls the speed of the projectile with the Light versions being slower.
Hard Missile attacks knock down on hit.
• Happy Missile •
Bonnie jumps into the air and launches a missile at her enemy's feet. Hard Punch travels forward more distance and will knock down on hit.
or
(Kick version can also be done in the air)
• Cheer of Fire •
Shoots a huge flame out of a bottle. Punch version arcs up-towards to catch jumpers, Kick goes straight across the screen and can be executed in the air.
Also, the Hard versions last a slight bit longer than the Light attacks.
• Shy Strike •
B.B.'s basket gets real big and she takes a swipe with it. Hard Punch has a bit longer range.
• Tell Me Why •
Slides along the ground giving you a very small hit box.
(In the air)
• Double Jump •
You can do an extra jump with B.B. Hood by pressing up or the diagonal up positions after jumping.
Hyper (Super) Moves
• Cool Hunting •
B.B. and a bunch of other people jump out and shoot their guns straight ahead. A very nice Hyper move. Easy to combo into and it takes off nearly half-power when it fully lands.
• Beautiful Memory •
After executing this you run forward and if you connect you'll do a series of knife slashes and finish with a throw. Nearly on par with the Cool Hunting Hyper move for damage.
• Hyper Apple For You (Hyper Command Grapple) •
This is an unblockable grapple attack. Bonnie does a short range dive and if she's near the other player she'll trip them, shoot them a bunch of times and then drop bombs on them.
Yet another great Hyper move for Hood, use this to keep the other player on their toes.
Command Normals
(While Dashing)
or
• Stumble & Blade •
• Malice & Mine •
• Surprise & Hop •
or
• Tricky Basket •
Assists

• (L) next to the move stands for Light.

First, B.B. Hood is awesome! :D Pair her up with assists that have reach and she's dangerous.

BB Hood has incredible damage on her "Cool Hunting" when landed. Her assists are great as well.

BB Hood is just awesome her double jump and anti-air make her a strong character.

Her biggest strength would be her amazing supers. Cool Hunting causes A LOT of chip damage, and it is ideal for team hyper combos. Beautiful Memory is really easy to combo into, it's almost as powerful as Cool Hunting, and DAMN it's real flashy to boot! Hyper Apple for you may not be as powerful, but it's UNBLOCKABLE. That means, people will eat bullets and bombs when it connects, and you get to laugh at them too because this Hyper move lasts for A WHILE! She's no doubt the most powerful charcter to represent the Darkstalkers. Sorry, Morrigan...

BBs launcher is very effective but you must be close.
Jump in (close)lp,lk,lk, super jump, lp,lk,lk,(HP)cheer of fire.
combo with cables projectile assist is near a 12-16 hit combo.

don't you mean HK cheer of fire? you can't do the HP in air, and it wouldn't catch anyways.

Oh my bad yes KG it is a HK.

I made a "Not-so-Official" MvsC2 rivalry match-up-list in the SERVBOT section. B.B. Hood's rival in my oppinion, I think is one of the most spot-on!

It's not (2) I am pretty sure it is (1)

@Baha
Agreed. B.B.Hood's Smiling missles are definitely FAST for (2). I got involved in a fireball war with Megaman one time and it was pretty even (I was even using a PS3 controler). I think Megaman has one the fastest fireballs in the game, and it honestly surprised me for B.B. Hood to have an even spammage!

B.B. Hood has a good keepaway-projectile game coupled with a good anti-air like Iron man/Cpt. Commando/ or Ken.

Launcher isn't really very good at all and air combos suck you should stay on the ground.
