Juggernaut moves and strategies: Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Special Moves

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick
Earthquake Punch
Juggernaut pounds the ground sending a shockwave along the floor, but this doesn't have to be blocked low. When doing this move, not only can the shockwave hit your opponent, but your huge hands as well.

The Hard Punch version sends the shockwave a longer distance than Light Punch.

Juggernaut Punch
Light Punch makes you lunge forward and slam your fist into the ground, which has surprisingly good range. Hard Punch causes Juggernaut to dash across the screen before doing this attack, and it also does more damage.

Either attack will knock your opponent back a bit too, making it easier for you to corner them.

Juggernaut Body Press
Executing this makes you do a quick forward jump into a body splash. It can also be done in the air, even while jumping backwards. When done in this way, it will change your trajectory making you fly forward in mid-air.

Cyttorak Power-Up
You'll enter a brief pose after doing this and start flashing. Your next attack will do more damage, but it's only good for one move, regardless if it hits or misses.

Hyper (Super) Moves

Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick Joystick      Joystick or Joystick (Mash Punches and Kicks)
Juggernaut Headcrush
Juggernaut charges forward hitting several times and finally slamming his opponent up into the air. Mashing Punch and Kick buttons will increase the hits and damage.

Landing the full 8 hits will drain well over half of your opponent's life, and using it in conjunction with his Cyttorak Power-Up or in a combo will take off a lot more. This thing is NASTY.

The one draw back is mashing out the full 8 hits can be — extremely difficult — but considering what the pay off is...

Command Normals

You should mention the Juggernaut glitch.

What it is, is when you do the Cyttorak Powerup, you swap out of the field to another character. When Juggernaut comes back in, he will permanately have the powerup on, making him extremely powerful. However, if you do the powerup again, after one attack, you will lose it.

I'm pretty sure that Juggs' Power Up takes TWO punch buttons to activate, not one. at least, I'm pretty sure that it says so in the move list. I could easily be wrong, though.

love the giant fat man. <3

It works in the ps3 version. Also his Cyttorak Power-Up is very vital to his rush down game.

On the 360, the Juggernaut glitch works; Cytorak Powerup then swapout increases his damage output permanently.

Juggernaut is the biggest instrument of fear in the game. The will either spaz out and try to kill you before you can react and make a mitsake, and you kill them, or they will try to run away like hell. In hich case you play predator and kill them. LoL.
