It's easy to listen to music while your iPod is charging without using iTunes. Here's how to do it.
Hook up your iPod to your computer via the USB cable, once Windows recognizes your iPod, open up My Computer. You should see your iPod listed as a drive.

Right click the iPod icon and select Eject from the menu.

And that's it. Enjoy full access to your iPod while it's charging without having to use iTunes.

wow thats so cool - just that simple - heres something i figured out - if u connect ur ipod - go into my computer and right click and click on explore - once your in - go into tools and folder options and click on view hidden files - u can actually copy a song of the ipod onto ur computer - only thing is u will have to rename the file -

thanks i have been trying to listen to my music while charging but all turned out wrong, but just now i have found a way where there seems to be no way
